Proton Saga BLM 1.3 (Manual)

On January 18, 2008, Proton unveiled the successor to the 2007 Saga, which was planned to be phased out in June 2008. Retaining the Saga name, the new car is an indigenous design, designed to outperform and outengineer the old Saga compact sedan and aeroback in every way. It's bodywork is essentially based on a stretched Proton Savvy. The new model is an in-house design developed in collaboration with Korea's LG CNS and Lotus Engineering. This model enables the Malaysian company play to its strength in the home market i.e. the three-box sedan. The Proton Saga is not planned for U.S. launch but will be sold throughout Southeast Asia, in China, India and Australia.

As of February 2008, approximately 23,000 customer bookings had been made for the car since its launch and the corresponding waiting time for delivery during that same period stretched up to 5 months.

On July 16, 2009, an electrical version of the Proton Saga was demonstrated at the University Sains Malaysia, Penang.

The Proton Exora is a compact MPV vehicle produced by Malaysia car manufacturer Proton and launched on 15 April 2009. It is a new model from Proton based on a new chassis. Chevrolet Cruze (Auto)

The Chevrolet Cruze is a General Motors (GM) automobile produced since 2001, spanning two generations and two unrelated vehicles. The first generation, a subcompact crossover SUV, was manufactured by Suzuki in Japan under joint venture with GM.

For the second generation 2008 onwards model, the "Cruze" moniker has been applied to a globally-developed compact sedan, designed, manufactured and retailed entirely within GM. Compared to the original, the second series is related only in name, and does not serve as its successor. Instead, the new car replaces two unrelated cars—the Chevrolet Cobalt and Daewoo Lacetti. Badged as the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere, the South Korean-market Cruze entered production in 2008, partially replacing the Daewoo Lacetti sold since 2002. This previous Lacetti was sold internationally as either a Buick, Chevrolet, Daewoo, Holden or Suzuki, but for the Cruze, GM have retained the "Chevrolet Cruze" name for most markets. Besides the South Korean Daewoo branding, Australasian-specification cars are badged Holden Cruze, with Holden set to commence local production from 2011. The North American Chevrolet Cobalt will also be phased out in 2010, replaced by the Chevrolet Cruze. Production of the Cobalt's twin, the Pontiac G5 will also cease, coinciding with the Pontiac brand's discontinuation after 2010.

Proton Persona 1.6 (A)

 The Proton Persona is a compact car introduced by Proton in 2007 for the same model year. Being an in-house design by Azlan Othman, the Persona replaced the saloon variant of the successful Proton Wira, whose export name is not confused with this model's same name, as Proton's compact car.

It is available as a sedan and is based upon the platform also shared with the Proton Gen-2 and the Proton Satria Neo. Also available is a Special Edition variant. All Personas are currently manufactured at Proton's Tanjung Malim plant in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi PowerShift

The all-new Mk 2 Ford Focus was launched at the Paris Motor Show on September 23, 2004 as a three and five-door hatchback and an estate, although the new car was previewed, in 4-door saloon form, as the 'Focus Concept' developed by Ford Europe at the Beijing  Motor Show in mid-2004.
 Design and engineering

The Mk 2, codenamed C307, uses the Ford C1 platform which is shared with the Volvo S40, V50 and C70, Mazda3 and Focus C-MAX. Ford calls this platform sharing programme "Global Shared Technologies".

The basic suspension design, which contributed much to the Mk 1's success, has been carried over largely unchanged from its predecessor which, along with a 10% stiffer bodyshell, offers even better handling and ride according to Ford. The same body styles as the Mk 1 Focus were offered, though the saloon did not appear until mid-2005.

The Focus Mk 2 is much larger than its predecessor with a 25 mm (1 in) increase in wheelbase, 168 mm (6.6 in) longer, 8 mm (0.3 in) taller and 22 mm (0.8 in) wider. As a result the interior and boot space have increased. New technologies include a KeyFree system, a solar-reflect windshield, adaptive front lighting, Bluetooth hands-free phones and voice control for audio, telephone and climate control systems.




Engine: Water-cooled, tranverse four cylinder turbodiesel displacing 1997cc, fed by common rail direct fuel-injection and intercooled, variable geometry turbocharger with four valves per cylinder and dual overhead camshafts.
Maximum power/torque: 100kW at 4000rpm / 320Nm at 2000rpm (340Nm on overboost).
Transmission: Six-speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels.
Suspension: Independent sports suspension in front and independent control blade multi-link with anti-roll bar at the rear.
Steering: Power-assisted rack-and-pinion with height and reach adjustment on the steering column.
Brakes: Anti-lock, discs all round, ventilated in front.
Wheels/tyres: Alloy 16" rims with 205/55 tyres.
Dimensions/mass: Length 4341mm, width 1991mm, height 1443mm. Mass 1366kg. Capacities: Four passengers, 55 litres fuel, 385- 821 litres boot.
Performance: 0-100km/h – 9.3secs. Top speed 205km/h (claimed).

Ford Mondeo 2.3 (Auto)

The fourth generation Mondeo (codename: CD345) was officially unveiled in 5-door production form in late 2006. Based on the EUCD platform developed with Volvo, the platform is the same used in the new large MPVs Galaxy  and S-MAX, but not the North American Ford Fusion or the Mazda Atenza in Japan. It will also possibly be used for several Volvos.

The Mk4 Ford Mondeo was released in May 2007 in the UK where it is currently available in five different trim levels: Edge, Zetec, Ghia, Titanium and Titanium X. In February 2008, Ford announced that in some European markets the Mondeo will be made available with a new Titanium S series trim. This model aims to add an even more 'sporty character' than the current Titanium series. In March 2008, a new 2.2 175 PS (128.7 kW; 172.6 bhp) TDCi common-rail diesel engine will be available on Mondeo providing acceleration to 0-60 mph in 8.4 seconds on the saloon and fuel consumption of returning 45.6 mpg combined. Also available in March 2008 will be Mondeo ECOnetic based on the Zetec series. The Mondeo ECOnetic is powered with a 2.0 115 PS (84.6 kW; 113.4 bhp) TDCI diesel that returns CO2 ratings of just 139 g/km on the 5-door.
